Pavement Coring iDrill+ owns and operates an Xcalibre Neptune Coring Rig. This rig is designed to take core samples from bituminous and concrete pavement layers. Traffic management to Chapter 8 specification can be arranged in house. This can be used on sites where there is a narrow access to the work area. The hand held window sampling package can be used to achieve the following:- Windowless sampling up to 7m depth Water/Gas monitoring installations Inclinometer installations Environmental Monitoring Gas monitoring information from borehole installations using Geo Instruments GA2000 Water/leachate level recording Insitu groundwater readings using YSI556 multi probe meter with flow cell Borehole development Water/leachate sampling from borehole installations for contamination testing Window Sampling The Competitor Dart is a small tracked rig capable of drilling small diameter boreholes to shallow depths and carrying out penetration testing. Due to its small size the Competitor Dart is capable of passing through a domestic doorway. The rig can be used to achieve the following:- Window/windowless sampling to 12m depth Classification and contamination testing of retrieved material U100 – U70 sampling SPT Insitu testing Dynamic probing to 12m depth Water/Gas monitoring installations Inclinometer installations Samples retrieved can be tested for Classification and contamination analysis Experienced Geotechnical Engineer provided
